apologies for being a bit pissed writing this but i have a qustion i know this the original but did the Beatles record this or even John or Paul as a solo artists

ReplyDeleteThis song came out about when the Beatles had split up - as a group the recorded numbers not written by them on thier first 3 or 4 albums - the artists who's songs they recorded were mostly older rock and roll - Chuck Berry, Buddy Holly etc. On thier solo albums John did a whole a album of mostly old rock and roll covers - that in cluded a great version he did of Stand By Me - Paul and George wrote thier own song and Ringo recorded an album that included some old covers and a few numbers written for him by the other 3 guys.
So in short Dru I'm pretty sure none of the ever covered American Woman.
